The Organization

We understand the current state of understanding mental health in Africa is still unspoken due to fear of stigma associated with mental health. We aim to use personal and professional experience to raise awareness within our community.

Who we are

T.O.L Let’s Talk Mental Wellbeing, is a peer support group for anyone who may be feeling sad, low in mood, anxious, isolated and all the issues that cause depression.

We create awareness and provide guidance and counselling to support people when they are sad or anxious to avoid getting into depression, suicidal thoughts or any other mental disorder. When someone with understanding of mental wellbeing, family member, friend or total stranger, makes it easy to support or advice the way forward. We Raise awareness by allowing an open platform for people to share personal stories about their mental distress, being honest with inspiring conversations to help reduce the stigma. We have support groups in the community, churches, schools and work-places to encourage people not to suffer in silence but to speak out how they are feeling mentally without fear or shame.
